I began writing about hellbeasts because of Rie Fujii, a young mother who abandoned her 2 babies to starve to death so that she could enjoy herself with her boyfriend. I thought at the time that nobody else could be that heartless, that selfish, that cruel. I know better now.
Sanae Nakamura, aka Sanae Shimomura, of Osaka, Japan, is a whole lot like Rie Fujii. Right down to the dead babies.
Sanae Nakamura had a beautiful little girl, Sakurako Hagi, and a darling little boy, Kaede Hagi. Ever since her divorce in May 2009 she was raising her children alone, a situation she obviously did not enjoy. She had no time or inclination to do housework, as evidenced by the mountains of garbage in the apartment.
In January 2010 Sanae Nakamura, then 23, began working as a sex trade worker at a sex parlor. She was an attractive young woman, and the work was a change from being a boring wife and mother. Her employer provided her with the apartment she lived in.
In March 2010 Sanae Nakamura got herself a boyfriend and began to spend the nights with him, leaving her 3-year-old daughter and 1-year-old son home alone. I can’t imagine how a decent person, much less a mother, could walk away from 2 helpless little children, leaving them alone for hours at a time.
This setup began to happen regularly. Those poor kids. I wonder if the boyfriend even knew she had kids.
A concerned neighbour contacted the Osaka municipal child consultation center 3 times because the children could be heard crying and screaming “mama, mama!” every night. The first phone call was made on March 30, 2010.
To be fair, 2 welfare officials showed up on March 31, April 1 and April 2. Nobody answered the door so they left. That’s right, they left.
The neighbour called again early on April 8, 2010. The children were still crying and screaming late into the night. The welfare officials showed up that day but again nobody answered the door. So they left. They didn’t interview the neighbours or anybody, they just left.
The neighbour called for a third time on May 18. Again, same story, the welfare officials came and nobody answered the door. Since the sex parlor rented the apartment, they didn’t know who lived there. But they did not contact the sex parlor to find out who exactly was living in the apartment. They did not contact police about the children reportedly in distress. Those welfare officials just left.
In early June, 2010, Sanae Nakamura locked the door to her apartment and walked away. Little Sakurako Hagi and her baby brother Kaede Hagi were abandoned inside and left to die.
The hellbitch Sanae Nakamura did not arrange for anyone to take care her children. She didn’t give them to their father and his family. She didn’t give them to her own parents. She just left them in that disgustingly filthy apartment, alone, unfed, unloved, to die.
Why the hell would she do that? Well, she wanted “to flee from everything and have time to myself,” she told the police.
“I thought about a week later they might be dead,” she reportedly told the investigators. “I didn’t feel like I should return home to save them.”
It took several days for those 2 little children to die. It must have been an agonizing, horrible death for them. I can just imagine them searching through the trash for anything edible, for anything to drink. They must have cried and screamed until they were hoarse, the poor babies. And then one would have died before the other, leaving the survivor completely alone, without help, without anything.
On July 29, 2010 Sanae Nakamura did return to the apartment, but as soon as she found her babies’ decomposing corpses she left again, just as if nothing happened.
On July 30, 2010, police arrived at the apartment after somebody reported a “strange smell coming from apartment 303”. The police had to enter the apartment from the balcony because the door was locked. When they got inside, they discovered the source(s) of the smell. The 2 tiny, emaciated corpses were naked and lying face up in the middle of the room, surrounded by garbage.
Sanae Nakamura, aka Sanae Shimomura, was arrested on July 30, 2010. She showed no remorse whatsoever.
“Since I divorced in May last year, I had become tired of caring for my children. I wanted free time,” the evil hellbitch told investigators. “I wished I hadn’t had children. I knew that such young children couldn’t live if I left them behind and refused to give them food or water.”
Why the hell couldn’t she give the children to her ex-husband to care for? Or her parents? Or his parents? Why did she decide the children had to die?
Apparently the monster mother Sanae Nakamura preferred to be childless in every sense of the word.
Sanae Nakamura went to trial at Osaka District Court for the murders of her babies. Her defense was that she didn’t intend to kill her children when she left them locked in the apartment without food or water for weeks. Her unhappy childhood was to blame. She unconsciously shut herself off from unpleasant things, said her defense counsel, because she’d been neglected and molested as a child. Riiiight.
I guess her sob story didn’t buy her much sympathy in court. Sanae Nakamura was convicted of murder and sentenced to 30 years in prison. The jury had no doubt whatsoever she knew leaving the children without food would kill them.
Sanae Nakamura’s lawyers appealed. On March 25, 2013, the Supreme Court upheld the 30-year sentence. Presiding Judge Yasuhiro Morioka said that the actions of the mother had doubtlessly led to the children’s deaths. He judged that the sentencing by the lower court was appropriate. He also pointed out that the desperate situation of the starving babies had been “beyond all imagination” and their deaths were “extremely cruel”.
Sanae Nakamura, now 25 years old, has 3 decades in prison ahead of her. I wish Rie Fujii, who had murdered her children in Canada, had had to face a similar sentence. She served only 5 years in prison, and was deported back to Japan upon her release, may she rot in hell.
I hope Sanae Nakamura suffers endlessly and hopelessly. I hope the selfish, narcissistic bitch will watch herself become wrinkled and saggy and repulsive. Please may she realize now that when she gets out she will have nobody, and will never have anybody. She deserves no better.
